In Mrs. Kendrick's classroom there are many very cool and interesting pets. I like to have all my students actively involved with the various pets. Some students really enjoy the daily feeding and care. While other students like to build and create a better habitat. Below are some fun pictures of all the pets with a list of care instructions. If anyone has any of the below items and would like to donate them to the classroom pets they would greatly appreciate it.
About Me
Hi! I’m Deb Kendrick and I have been teaching in the Colchester school district for 14 years. I grew up on small animal farm in New Hampshire. While growing up on the farm my parents taught me to respect the beauty of nature and always have a great appreciation for all living things. Before I discovered teaching was my passion I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. During My journey of growing up I received an associate’s degree in veterinarian technology, a bachelor of science in animal veterinarian science, a post baccalaureate degree in teaching and finally I received my masters of education in 2004. It was my associates’ degree from Vermont Technical College that brought me to the beautiful state of Vermont and where I met my husband. My husband and I have been blessed to have a daughter (Piper) and a son (Parker). Along with our family pets (sky) our high energy border collie, (Oakley) our very first cat and (Max) the sneaky Siamese.
